A Glimpse of Freedom: An American Tale of Love and War
| M.A. Bookout
| While many believe the sinking of the TITANIC was the worst Maritime disaster in our nations history. It wasn't. On the night of April 27th 1865 the steamship SULTANA exploded on the Mississippi River with nearly 2000 war-weary Union soldiers aboard. Most had just been released from Cahaba and Andersonville P.O.W. camps. The majority of these men never made it home. A GLIMPSE OF FREEDOM is a novel based on the life of one of these men.
