| A Walk Toward Jesus

| Is the wilderness walk an important step in a Christian's life? You bet! A failure to recognize it will leave you standing astonished asking, "Why did that happen to me?" Yet, we never really teach or preach about this part in Church. We have fallen into a period where Churches must either be entertaining to keep the pews full, or make us feel good so our sins do not "appear" so sinful. Because of this, vital key steps that lead us to purify the wood, hay, and stubble from our hearts, so maturity takes place within our soul, is lacking from today's teaching.It is not okay to leave off parts of the Bible for any reason because we are talking about eternity here! There is a difference between the WHOLE truth being presented in love, verses when a little bit of truth mixes in with a worldview so just to placate someone's feelings. Is that temporary placation more important than eternal truths? It should always be, "the whole truth and nothing but the truth," so God can help you!Asking forgiveness is one thing, but transformation is another. We are to be transformed by the Word, Romans 12:2 And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God. What does that really mean to you? How does one "transform" according to the Word of God?Pamela is married and she and her husband have three children. By the Lord's guidance, they founded a home fellowship, The Well A Church of Fellowship, in Houston, TX.
