Maligned
| Kathleen Papajohn
| The novel is jammed-packed with action. It is a story about an ex-black ops agent whose beautiful wife has been framed for murder by the CEO of one of the world’s largest corporations, an alpha male with an ax to grind. MALIGNED also has an extremely touching, underlying love story that depicts true eternal love. The characters are rich, diverse and extremely interesting, from a strong, handsome protagonist; a beautiful, extraordinary lady-in-distress; to a diabolical villain. I believe that MALIGNED will appeal to a broad spectrum of readers, but in particular to fantasy and sci-fi readers whose imagination has been captured by the news media’s saturation coverage of scientific and medical breakthroughs such as genetic engineering and stem cell research. One has only to look at the amount of public interest in news stories about genetically modified organisms, human cloning initiatives and exciting medical innovations to realize the potential attraction of a novel about a near-future society that has mastered biotechnology to keep its members young and alive - indefinitely
