An Uncommon Affair
| Leigh Michaels
| Marsh Endicott made a big mistake
He assumed that Torey would be pleased to - sell him her half share of the house they'd jointly inherited.
"If the girl makes a fuss," he'd said, "I'll just pay rent until the sale goes through." After all, no one in their right mind would trek from the West Coast to live in a run-down property in small-town Iowa.
Torey, however, couldn't wait to take possession and make a new life for herself. And that new life certainly didn't include a ready-made housemate who was engaged to another woman!
