It consists of 30 funny anecdotes from my time both watching football as a fan and covering it for the Daily Telegraph as a young freelancer. Some of those are bound to either make you laugh, or nod your head knowing that sometime, someplace you have seen the very same thing happen.
100 comedy football limericks from my original text remain. I have also added 50 “Guess the Match” limericks – fans of British football and England might do especially well with these. Some famous World Cup matches are also included.
