| 21-year old Aubrey Quinn still lives under her mother's thumb -and has since her third grade teacher declared her a rising star. Her life hasn't been her own since those stolen moments back in high school that she spent with the love of her life, Jess Rivers. Unfortunately, once Jess graduated, he broke things off with her to pursue his baseball career. Aubrey never really gets over Jess and years later, when she becomes a contestant on a reality entertainment show, she wins the opportunity to sing the National Anthem for the local baseball team. And Jess Rivers storms back into her life. Now Aubrey is struggling to get out from under her mother's control, fighting for a relationship with Jess, and trying to remain a contender on the reality show.
