| A lonely young boy called Billy makes a final wish to the moon to bring him a friend. When a tiny flying creature shows up Billy calls him Plip and promises to love him forever. Over the years they play and learn together until Billy finally grows up and leaves Plip to fend for himself. Although befriended by Dree the dragonfly, Plip wishes he could meet another creature like himself. The journey takes them far from home but this is when Plip discovers that a wish can change everything.
