| How can you not love a book about which Matt Groening of The Simpsons says, "Mutts cheers me up everyday. It's not only sweet, simple, and funny--a rare combination--it's also the best drawn comic strip around." Even Charles Schulz says, in his introduction to this edition, "To me, Mutts is exactly what a comic strip should be. It is always fun to look at." The main characters, a cute little cat and dog pair, are bright-eyed observers of our crazy world. And Patrick McDonnell's cartooning really is top notch. It's no wonder more and more syndicates are picking up Mutts.
