| African Americans only make up 12% of the population, but almost half of the new HIV cases are African American. These numbers are very disproportionate and because HIV is such a taboo subject in the African American community many people are not getting the message. This astonishing fact is the reason why Dangerous Lee wrote Keep Your Panties Up and Your Skirt Down.
