Lily, Kai and Ash are three of the rarest creatures alive--Sirens, so rare that they aren’t even aware of each other. Lily has done her best to stay out of the spotlight. Growing up in Rhine has been no easy task, as the people of the island don’t like anyone who is different. When she’s attacked and catches the interest of the new detective, it doesn’t go over well with the island’s most eligible bachelor. Lily’s childhood friend has long seen her as property, and has no intention of letting her go.
Kai has known nothing but the slave trades her entire life. If she ever had a family or a home, the memories are lost. When she escapes with the help of an unusual star nymph, Kai learns that there is much more to her story than she realizes. Her feelings toward her new found ally war with her desire for self preservation. Unsure which path to take the truth about her past leads her down the road to revenge, and to a life she could have never imagined.
Ash has been in the public eye since she was born. As the daughter of a sleazy politician, Ash has lived for nothing more than family honor and pleasing the Gods. When her lover is murdered, she escapes from the only life she’s ever known, and discovers that the life of an assassin is not so easily forgotten.
Trials await all three women in their quests for freedom, and the lines between right and wrong become blurred as they fight the ties that both hold them back and bind each other together.
